Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' educational and developmental goals.
- Maintain detailed records of progress, treatment plans, and assessments, ensuring compliance with state and district requirements.
Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred).
- Pennsylvania state teaching certification (if required for school-based SLPs).
- At least one year of experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
